I Am Replacing My Shower Fixtures - Currently They Are Grohe. Is There Anyway To Avoid Breaking The Tile?

Aqualisa Vs. Grohe Showers...?
Hi, i would like to buy a new shower unit. a non-digital one that can run off a combi boiler.we settled on a grohe shower for £250 (i think grohtherm 1000 concealed) but have now been given an aqualisa quartz thermo (model qz3111) instead as the other one was not in stock. the shop can get it for us in a couple of days. i am not sure which is a better shower. would anyone have any knowledge? any helps from plumbers or people with experience of these would be great... thanks,anna (Read answers)

Help...fitting Wall Hung Cuba Toilet Pan (homebase) To A 1.2m Rapid Sl Grohe Frame!?
Whilst trying to hang pan to the frame it sits on only one of the crossbars! maybe the toilet pan is too short?? does anyone know if it should always sit on both? we think so as it doesn 't feel solid enough & dont feel confident that a plasterboard wall infront of frame will be secure enough to prevent pivoting of the pan which occurs w/ o plasterboard in situ. are these frames universal for all wall hung pans? please help. any advice would be greatly appreciated:-( (Read answers)

We have a shower with a grohe faucet that "holds " the temperature at a specific level. it works fine, but is hotter than it says (if you turn it to 80 degrees, it holds steady at like 100, if you put it at 70, it holds it steady at like 90, etc.). how do i adjust it so that the temperature is right?as an aside, does anyone know how this faucet works? Grohe Euromix Shower Lever?
I have this old shower handle made by grohe. water flow is controlled using a lever. the problem is that the fulcrum of the lever is all made out of plastic and breaks every couple of years. pro.grohe.co.uk/ m/ 25_31753/ page/ modules/ pn/ article.php?part= view &action= view &product= 33440g051 &offset= 0 &amount= 15i am wondering if there is anything i could do to extend the life of the fulcrum. if i could reduce the force required to push/ pull the internal part in the valve cartridge somehow, i may be able to prevent the plastic parts from breaking. let me know if anybody owns this shower valve and/ or knows how to maintain.i replaced the cartridge and lever two years ago... last time the fulcrum broke.
